Students apply the foundational skills learned in earlier grades to become thriving and independent readers and writers. They will advance their fluency and comprehension through exposure to fiction and nonfiction. In math, students will explore how numbers are used in everyday life by comparing, manipulating, and representing them through many different methods. They will also develop an understanding of community and the world around them. Through collaboration of the Nannie Berry community, the students will be set up to become the leaders of tomorrow.
