Please note that Nannie Berry is on a 8:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. schedule with Kindergarten hours as 8:45 - 2:30.  Therefore, if "Snowbird" announces that Sumner County schools are closing an hour early (for example) then kindergarten would dismiss at 1:30 p.m. and 1st - 5th grades would dismiss at 2:45 p.m.

HOWEVER...

If "Snowbird" says we are dismissing at a specific time, then Nannie Berry will dismiss 45 minutes later than the stated time.

This is so the buses can take the older children (HHS, Ellis Middle) home, then return to pick up the Nannie Berry students.

Car riders can be picked up at their regular pick up location on the lower level at the media announced dismissal time.

There is no need to come into the office to pick up students.

Please make sure your child knows their transportation arrangements in case of early dismissal.  We will dismiss students according to what is written on the snow day dismissal section of their registration card.  ONLY the person listed on the student's registration card will be allowed to pick them up.

Any transportation changes must be sent to the school in writing.
