Student book reviews by Mrs. Sanford's Second Grade Students

Grace  (December, 2006)

Book Title:  The  Funny   Little  Women

Author: Arlene Mosel

Main Characters:  The  funny  woman  and  the  Oni

I  enjoyed     the  characters  a lot the  funny  little  woman  was  very  funny.  The story  took   place  under  ground and  in  the  funny  little  women’s  house. The  funny  little  woman's   rice  cake  rolled  away. I  enjoyed  the  drawings  of  the  Oni  the  most. It   was when   funny  their  cheeks   were  big.

Kelsee (December, 2006)

Book Title: The Little House

Author: Virginia Leeburton

Main Character: Little House

I enjoyed the characters because they made me laugh and they were very funny. It takes place at a city, town and a big field. The little house moves from the big field to the city and does not like the city. I enjoyed this book because I enjoyed the illustrations a lot. I liked the ending because finally Little House goes back to the field of apple trees, flowers, butterflies and pretty birds that sing lovely songs.
