Welcome to a new school year at Nannie Berry Elementary !

I would like to welcome you to Nannie Berry Elementary School. I am proud to be given the opportunity to work where children are valued and in a positive supportive educational climate.  Long before 2001 when Congress passed the No Child Left Behind Act, it was the goal of Nannie Berry to meet the educational needs of all our students. We share the focus of NCLB, which is: "To provide all children with a fair, equal and significant opportunity to obtain a high quality education".

The educational professionals working at Nannie Berry are accountable and flexible. We value our parents' opinions about the education students are receiving. Nannie Berry implements an aligned curriculum using research-based educational strategies.

Nannie Berry teachers use individual instructional data to make educational decisions to meet the needs of students. The design of units and lessons are outcome focused and research based. Teachers plan and work together to provide an educational climate that supports the natural learning systems of the brain.
