The mission for Nannie Smith Berry Elementary School is to provide a learning environment of high quality where every child develops socially, physically, emotionally, and academically and becomes a happy, responsible, productive citizen.

                                                                                          

                     

               

 

Schedule of Events

 

April 30:  The LAST DAY the cafeteria will be accepting checks or allowing

students to charge meals.  Students will also not be allowed to borrow lunch money from the office after April 30, 2008.   

Parents please note: If student does not have lunch or money, it will be the parents resposibility to bring it to the school for their child.

 

May 2nd:  All books need to be returned  to the library

 

May 5th-9th: Teacher Appreciation Week  

 

May 5th -9th : Cafeteria Appreciation Week   

 

May 5th:  SCEA Dinner

 

May 6th:  5th Grade Fieldtrip

May 6th: Last day for AR points to count

 

May 8th :  PTO Meeting & Talent Show in Evening

 

May 9th:  Talent Show performed for School

 

May 9th: AR Party

 

May 12th:  Awards Day (Schedule to be sent out)

 

May 13th: Last Skate Night

 

May 14th & 15th:  First Grade Authors Tea

 

May 16th:  Opening Ceremony for Field Day (1:00) 45 min. to 1 hour program time

                     School Annuals will be distributed on this date also

 

May 19th:  Field Day

 

May 20 & 21st : Rain dates for Field Day

 

May 21st:  Last Day for Students
